IT at Harrods is undergoing tremendous change to support our customers unique needs. As well as being our central nervous system, we are increasingly incorporating technology into the way we reach, engage and secure our multi-national customer base. As well as needing technical experts to join our team, we are looking for candidates that demonstrate a keen interest in the way technology interacts with and enables business growth and customer satisfaction.

Service Delivery

Comprising of Infrastructure Support (1st and 2nd line), Enterprise Services, Data Networks and Core Services, this team supports business users with hardware, software, cabling and network issues. Providing support to over 6,000 users within our business, our Service Delivery team analyse and resolve service issues flagged by our Technical Service desk, as well as implement a variety of fit for purpose solutions, from installing structured cabling to configuring network equipment. Striving to obtain maximum service availability and performance at all times across multi-site locations, this team contains experts in the Support and Infrastructure field.

Service and Programme Management

Divided into Change Portfolio Management and Service Management, this team manages the IT portfolio of programmes and projects. Ensuring that wider IT projects are effectively implemented and tracked, as well as maintaining daily service optimisation, this team provides a robust support system for our business.

Business Systems, including SAP

SAP runs through our entire business, from logistics to buying, distribution to stock management. The team is predominantly made up of SAP Consultants who support our users and deliver continual improvements to the system. Our BI Developers provide the business with core information about our performance, utilising the Microsoft SQL Stack to gather the most accurate data available.

Solution Design, Development and Support

Working across hardware and software, between physical support and technical development, this team includes Retail Systems Services Engineers, Developers and Analysts and Solution Developers and Support. Within this team also sits our Vendor Applications Support and Business Analysts who manage third party applications and work closely with the business community to conduct business analysis, translating requirements into technology. From delivering robust and sustainable change into our complex EPOS estate to developing our core systems, the Solution Design, Development and Support division at Harrods offers a myriad of specialisms, systems and working environments.
