When you tell people that you work at Harrods they respond with: "Wow, that's good!"

Questions we asked Agne:

How long have you been here?

"Well I've been working here for over 2 years ... I don't want to leave, I don't want to leave Harrods, maybe when I leave the restaurant I'll take some other position but I imagine my career is here at Harrods."

Why Harrods?

"I was always interested in sophisticated places, famous places, and I just tried. I didn't realise I could get a job, I wasn't feeling special or anything and I got the job so that was very good."

What makes it special for you?

"If you read any English book, like a best-seller for example, you will definitely find Harrods in it, and you feel kind of proud working for Harrods when you know that everyone knows about Harrods. When you tell people you work at Harrods they're like "Wow! That's good!"

What are your customers like?

"Lots of famous people come here, like Pierce Brosnan and Simon Cowell - they are kind of regulars here. Loads of politicians come here as well, like the ex Prime Minister of Pakistan or people like that, and you find it really interesting to talk to them becuase they're not so scary; they're ordinary people so it's quite nice."

Is Harrods the place for me?

"It's a good place to work, everyone is friendly and helpful and you have the space to express yourself."
