"I was given the opportunity to identify some key management skills and, more importantly, develop my own management style. All the modules provided me with the confidence to successfully manage a team of people. I was pleasantly surprised with the freedom I was given to express my own opinions and ideas, and I was able to provide honest feedback on any subject and my managers were always open to change.

During my project research, I had the opportunity to meet with members of the Senior Management team, whose work in the business has been a great inspiration to me. I liaised with different departments within Harrods, from Marketing to Buying, which gave me the opportunity to explore different aspects of the business. As a result, I now possess a better understanding and a broader view of Harrods and the retail industry as a whole.

In terms of my ideas for improving the store, I have always been made to feel that the possibilities are endless.
