I've been here 18 years and every morning I pass by departments and still find them amazing!

Questions we asked Pepe:

How long have you been with Harrods?

"I've been working at Harrods for about 18 years, it will be 19 years on the 29th June. It's been fantastic for me, maybe the best I've ever had as a waiter."

Your best moment so far?

"My best moment in Harrods so far was when Mr Mohamed Al Fayed was passing me and he said "Hello" - to me that made my day. I have to say, he always says hello to me, and I am very pleased with that."

What else makes it special for you?

"Every customer has been fantastic for me, it's incredible to work in the Georgian restaurant. I tell our waiters and everybody else how lucky we are to work in Harrods. Harrods is amazing. As I say I've been here 18 years and every morning I try to pass by the perfumerie downstairs and look at the food halls, something unbelievable, everybody should go there to see it. I have to thank a lot of people because Harrods has been immense for me. I wouldn't change it for the world."
