UnderGraduate Internships

Acquire valuable work experience in your chosen degree field and have the chance to develop a network of contacts. Undergraduate internships support towards achieving projects or low-level tasks, and many of our interns return to the company permanently after completing their education.  At the end of the internship, a character reference and performance review is provided and interns are given the chance to network and put themselves forward for paid roles.

You must be:

  • 18 years old or over
  • Studying for a degree (relevant to the department you would like to gain experience in) at a university on Harrods Resourcings’ Preferred Supplier List (PSL)

The placement:

  • Lasts from one to three months
  • There are no set hours or days as internships are voluntary
  • You will support a business project with low-level job requirements
  • You will receive support and guidance, along with feedback for your professional portfolio
  • You must adhere to company policies and procedures, act professionally at all times and observe Harrods business dress code standards

The pay:

Unfortunately undergraduate internships are unpaid, but travel will be reimbursed and a monetary reward will be loaded onto your Harrods Reward card ready to spend in-store

The process:

  • Placements are decided upon by the department and include a project brief
  • Placement requests can be made by emailing futuretalent@harrods.com
  • Placements are advertised on harrodscareers.com and with Harrods partner universities
  • If successful you will meet Resourcing and the placement manager at Harrods
  • Harrods Resourcing will arrange a welcome day for the successful student
