Meet Polly - Lifestyle Manager

Describe a typical day in the role of the Lifestyle Manager?

The Lifestyle team is extremely dynamic and versatile and we are expected to fulfil a number of key roles throughout the day. Client requests will always come first and this can be anything from sourcing a sold out Lego bus for a client’s son to obtaining tickets to the final of Wimbledon to organising a client’s 50th birthday party at The Natural History Museum for x 80 guests. We will ensure that each client request is executed seamlessly and always deliver an exceptional lifestyle service. To ensure this exceptional service and make Beyond an inspiring service part of our roles is also to create, build and maintain relationships with key external partners and suppliers ranging from the newest restaurant in London to specialised terrapin experts!

What has been the most interesting request you have received?

One of our most interesting moments was being asked to source a black panther for a client’s personal photo shoot taking place in London the next day, the client had just returned from a holiday in South Africa and having seen them up close was desperate to have one shipped in to pose in a photo with them!

“I love being part of creating those memorable moments”

What skills do you need to be successful as a Lifestyle Manager?

Exceptional communication is essential as you are liaising on a daily basis with key stakeholders both internally and externally, creativity to ensure that you are always offering your clients the most inspiring, relevant and engaging experiences and a can do attitude as we can be asked for everything and anything on a day to day basis.

What is the most exciting aspect of this role?

Executing client projects from the start to end – it is always so exciting to be involved at the early stages of a client request from the initial meeting and consultation, through to the finer details and then seeing the finished project come to life and being part of creating those memorable moments and a ‘story worth telling’!
