Meet Rebecca - Learning Advisor

What do you enjoy most in your role?

My favourite part of being a Learning Advisor is being the face of Harrods for our new employees joining the business through the induction process. I am a strong believer that if you do a job that you love, you will never work a day in your life and this is true to my new role. My role also gives me the opportunity to combine my hands-on experience from being a Sales Manager with my thirst for developing people on an everyday basis.

"I love the moment when someone asks where you work and gasps as soon as you say Harrods."

Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

After having experienced many roles within the retail environment of Harrods, I hope to perfect my role as a Learning Advisor and be seen as an influential member of the Learning & Development team.

What is your favourite thing about Harrods?

The list is endless although I will always appreciate the luxury environment which promotes glamour and sophistication through constant innovation. I enjoy watching the store transform and develop through visual campaigns – such as Christmas, newly designed shop fits or retail theatre events.
