In this role, you’ll support the L&D team to deliver on their strategic goals by developing learning experiences for all areas of our business, across all our workstreams. On a day-to-day basis the role requires you scope, design and evaluate face-to-face, virtual, and digital solutions. As a Learning Experience Designer, you’ll develop and grow Harrods Core Learning offer by championing our learning offer and maximise opportunities.

You’ll collaborate with the L&D team and internal stakeholders to build end-to-end learner journeys based on briefing, discovery, and diagnostic measures, by using a range of authoring tools to build digital learning solutions. You’ll write engaging, punchy copy for internal communications and materials. You’ll be responsible for gathering data and collecting feedback to evaluate the impact of learning and user experience. In this role, you’ll drive best practice and share design expertise across different teams within Harrods.

About you

You’ll be a a self-starter, with the ability to handle continuous change, ambiguity and work at pace. You’ll be good at prioritization and able to work as part of a team and independently. By being a creative thinker, you’ll be able to balance creativity with pragmatism.

More specifically, we are looking for:

  • A passion for helping people to learn, grow and develop.
  • Understanding of adult learning design principles and best practices.
  • Experience in digital platform functionality, capability and approach (our LMS is Workday).
  • Experience in designing learning experiences at scale (face-to-face, virtual and digital).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written/communication skills.
