An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Harrods Heathrow and Gatwick stores as an Operations Manager, working collaboratively with the rest of the management team to achieve and deliver our business vision.

About the Role

As the Operations Manager working across all terminals and both locations, you will manage the team of Stock Operatives and Business Support Clerks as they ensure the daily deliverance of exceptional operational standards for the stores.

The 3 pillars of the role are leadership, operational delivery and compliance. You will be responsible for leading your team clearly and effectively, ensuring they are supported in their role and that they are able to deliver operational efficiency and exceptional standards. You will proactively oversee stock-related processes, review procedures for efficiency and foster effective stakeholder relationships. Finally, You will maintain administrative reports, uphold GDPR and health & safety standards, monitor staff training compliance, manage trading standards and assist with terminal projects.

About You

As an exceptional and well rounded leader you will guide the team to success through leading by example with clarity, empathy and vision. Your organisational skills are second to none, ensuring that every task is executed with precision and timeliness. You thrive in environments where efficiency is key, strategically driving improvement across all stock related processes.

You will also:

  • Have prior experience and be confident using SAP
  • Have worked within stock operations
  • Be able to work at Heathrow with travel to Gatwick once a week
  • Be well versed in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • Will have worked at Heathrow airport previously (desirable)
