As a People Process Assistant you will deliver excellent Tier 2 support to our colleagues. You will efficiently manage all activity relating to the employee lifecycle in line with policy, SLAs and our values. The role will also provide first class generalist HR advice, coach and empower Managers and employees to drive self-service, whilst demonstrating compliance, consistency and accuracy at all times.

Additionally, the People Process Assistant will be pro-active; solutions focused and have a drive for continuous improvement.

Principal Activities and Accountabilities

  • Provide approval support in Workday for all self-service transactions
  • Own monthly and ad hoc tasks including but not limited to:
  • Right to Work checks
  • Maternity Returners
  • Long Service checks and uploads
  • Monthly bonus, commission and Tronc checks and uploads
  • Conflict of Interest and DBS checks
  • Data integrity
  • Process cases assigned via the case management system. Ensure regular follows ups are carried out to our customers and cases are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Provide generalist HR and policy advice and support to internal and external customers via all channels through the Tiered model. Escalate where necessary to ensure fast and efficient resolution.
  • Coach Managers and provide training when necessary.
  • Ensure response times and SLAs are met.
  • Participate in service improvement activity as required using customer feedback and share best practice in transaction delivery across the team.
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy in data maintenance and employee records.
  • Self-learning and keep up to date with Employment law, changes to employee life cycle process and HR system releases and updates.
  • Adhere to GDPR compliance.
  • Provide ad hoc testing and project support when required

  • Continuous improvement and best practice approach
  • Apply judgement, communicate clearly and confidence to escalate when necessary
  • Comfortable with ambiguity due to fast paced nature
