An incredibauble memory

Hi, I’m Olivia a Resourcing Specialist at Harrods, and I’m Beth our Quality Assurance Assistant.
Olivia: Sadly, in 2014 one of my close friends passed away. The last ever Christmas present he purchased for his mum was the Harrods 2013 Signature bauble which unfortunately smashed. I really wanted to replace the bauble as a gift for my friend’s mum. I visited our Signature department to find out whether it was possible to source one, and Beth helped me bring my wish to life.
Beth: The day Olivia came to the department and shared the story, it really touched me and I thought to myself imagine if that was my best friend. Fortunately, I was able to source the bauble. And once I got it, I visited her straight away to give it to her.
Olivia: Initially I thought nothing would come of it when I asked, but the day Beth came to our office and surprised me with the bauble is truly one of my favourite days at Harrods. The whole team knew about the story and were equally as excited. I still remember the atmosphere in the office that day, it was so special and reminded me how much I love Harrods.
Beth: For me, I was just happy to help. Sometimes the little things in life can leave such a big mark.  
Olivia: At first, I wanted to surprise my friends mum with the bauble, but I was so excited, I shared the news straight away. His mum was so pleased and couldn’t hold back her tears. I can’t wait to hand deliver it to her in November. It will be a little piece of him on her Christmas tree this year.
