It is our people who have brought our brand to life. That's why we would like you to get to know Marguerite Patten.
Marguerite Patten was a home economist, food writer and broadcaster. During the Second World War, she was employed by the Ministry of Food to promote methods of cooking with wartime rations. Marguerite played an instrumental role in Harrods’ wartime Food Advice Service, by providing engaging cookery demonstrations in the Food Halls to customers seeking help in cooking and household economy.
