Meet Carlos & Maria- Knightsbridge Club Winners

The Knightsbridge Club is an exclusive group of employees who have demonstrated exceptional customer service and have gone above & beyond for their clients. These outstanding individuals are nominated by their colleagues and then recognised and celebrated for their work.

 

We hear from Carlos about his experience as a Knightsbridge Club winner 

 

What did you to earn a place in the Knightsbridge Club?

I took a telephone order that day and I was happy to gift wrap it and deliver it to the customer's hotel by myself for the simple reason of self-responsibility which I think it should be the trademark of anyone working at Harrods.

What is the "Harrods" difference for service?

Its difference regarding the service is that we offer a personal one, regardless how big or small the spending might be. And that is why the Store is known for.

What do you enjoy most about working in Harrods?

My colleagues are the best of the every day. Going thru really challenging situations and not that good moments make me feel like I am between my family in the Toy Kingdom.

How do you think this will impact your career?

It will be really useful for my career, anywhere it might head to, being able to prove that a company like Harrods have recognised my way of working in such a high level so that would give quite a big credit to my resume.

 

Maria is also a Knightsbridge Club winner and she tells us about her experience.

 

 What is the "Harrods" difference for service?

Service at Harrods means having a thorough knowledge of your products and being able to help customers to make the best choices for them.

It is also about treating customers with a friendly, and helpful attitude; this is one of the things that set us apart from others of our kind.

What do you enjoy most about working in Harrods?

I am very passionate about service and customer experience! I am fortunate enough to be working for a brand which is regarded as the pinnacle of customer experience, I am proud to be an ambassador for the Harrods brand and enjoy interacting with our clientèle.

How do you think this will impact your career?

I am more visible across the business and I have developed my network, teamwork, and communication skills. I have met people from across the whole business and at all levels; it has given me a real confidence boost.

My manager is delegating me extra responsibilities and I genuinely believe that this experience can only impact my career in a positive way!
