Director of Restaurants

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Restaurants to lead our ambitious strategy to become the leading global destination for dining. This role is pivotal in driving the transformation and continued success of our restaurant operations. About the Role

As a senior leader, you will be instrumental in driving our organisation’s vision and growth within the hospitality sector through the development and execution of high-value, long-term strategic partnerships. Combining visionary strategy with hands-on operational excellence, you will lead our restaurant portfolio towards becoming a global benchmark in luxury dining, ensuring Harrods remains at the forefront of the hospitality industry.

Your focus will be on delivering exceptional guest experiences and elevating operational standards. You will steer the direction of all restaurant venues, inspire a world-class team, and drive growth across all areas of the business to ensure that Harrods retains its competitive edge. You will also be responsible for the financial performance of all restaurant operations by setting and achieving ambitious revenue, profitability, and cost management goals aligned with the broader business strategy.

About You

Your primary responsibility will be to shape the company’s partnership strategy, forging deep relationships with key stakeholders across the hospitality industry and ensuring that partnerships not only enhance business performance but also align with our overarching organisational goals.

You are a strategic, visionary leader within the hospitality market with an exemplary proven track record of operating at the highest level and delivering outstanding results. You are well-connected with key industry figures, staying ahead of trends, identifying business opportunities, and enabling continuous development and evolution of the Harrods restaurant offering.

You foster innovation, quality, and operational excellence within your teams, championing a high-performance culture that ensures your senior and leadership teams are positioned for sustained success, growth, and scalability within the organisation. You are an excellent collaborator, cultivating relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the business, ensuring alignment and integration of restaurant strategies with broader business objectives.

You make informed, data and insights-led decisions, collaborating effectively across appropriate teams in the business to leverage key information. You are commercially astute, able to analyse P&L statements to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to achieve profitability targets.
