Administrator

Our Thatcham based Supply Chain team are looking for an Administrator to support across the distribution function.

The Supply Chain team is a vital part of the Harrods success story, our warehouse is at the heart of our international distribution service and a key cog in ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

This position works rotating shifts – 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. This role is paid at £12.42 per hour.

About The Role

 
This role plays a key part in the smooth running of the supply chain function, by working alongside the Buying teams and internal departments to check and upload stock queries, ensuring we have communicated all required information for a smooth resolution process.

In this role you will be responsible for:

•    Accurately investigating and uploading Trouble Shipments, providing summary tables and relevant information of delivery issues
•    Providing collection details for RTV’s once received into TVDC and facilitating collections and dispatches
•    Ensuring all physical stock accurately represents systematic stock holding
•    Working alongside the Buying and Merchandising team to ensure Purchase Orders are based on data driven forecasts whilst maintaining achievable inbound volumes. 
•    Consistently planning effectively and re-evaluating plans over time where necessary

About You 

You will have experience in delivering high service standing and having strong customer focus. You must be meticulous in your approach with a very keen eye for detail. You will be using online systems in your day to day with the verifying process, you will need to be computer literate. Having a background in using SAP systems and Microsoft Excel would be advantageous. 

You’ll also have:
•    Experience of working flexible hours/days and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role
•    Strong numerical, literacy and communication skills
