Barista

We are now looking for a full-time, permanent Barista to join our excellent team within the Roast & Bake café here at Harrods. Warm, welcoming service is the perfect complement to wonderful drinks and that’s what you’ll provide as a Barista. You’ll prepare hot and cold drinks to an extremely high standard and serve other beverages and grab-and-go food, toast sandwiches, and serve on the tills.

About The Role

As a Barista, you’ll have a great focus on providing an exceptional service in a professional but fun way. You’ll also be responsible for checking deliveries, merchandising and restocking products, managing inventory, on-the-go cleaning, and removal of bins and coffee grounds. You may also need to open and close the café on occasion, so you’ll have a level of responsibility.

About You

You’ll be fully trained on a manual coffee machine and be able to steam milk to the perfect temperature and consistency. The working area is small, so you’ll need to have experience working closely with a fast-paced team. Preferably, you’ll also have Food Safety Level 2 (or experience with food safety as a minimum).
