Buyers Clerk - Fragrance

About you

As an experienced Buyer’s clerk, you are very analytical and a very clear communicator. You love to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’re methodical and understand the importance of meeting deadlines and have a keen eye for detail. You love building relationships with stakeholders of all different levels of seniority.

What to expect

As a Buyer’ Clerk you will provide vital administrative support to the Buyer and Assistant Buyer and ensure a smooth running of the Buying Office across all channels (store, online and airports). As this role is dealing with both concession and own bought brands, you will be dealing with a number of different stakeholders. Your role will entail (but is not limited to):

• Create all Purchase Orders for the department with the Buyers Clerk, ensuring all PO’s are confirmed and, on the system, ahead of the new season
• Assist the Buyer with completing the Buyers Sheet, inputting data required for the order
• Continuously maintain articles to ensure accuracy
• Create the department Look Book each season, highlighting the key season trends and featuring all the products bought for the season from each brand
• Ensure that all key stakeholders, including the store retail team, airport retail team and the online team are kept up-to-date on deliveries and special orders.
• Investigate and resolve trouble shipments within 24hrs
• Investigate and resolve mismatched invoices and invoicing queries
• Action RTVs, working closely with the store and airport retail team and distribution team on returning stock to the vendor and processing all returns on the system
• Attend regular floor walks with Retail Managers and Visual Merchandising to view new products being delivered and discuss how to display them.
• Conduct competitor shops to assess range, merchandise mix, price points and new labels for both online and in store
