Class 2 Driver

Our Distribution team at Thatcham are looking to recruit a Part Time HGV 2 Driver to support our Distribution centre operation. 

About the Role 

In this role you will provide an effective and efficient loading and delivery service from Thatcham to Knightsbridge, Heathrow, Gatwick, H Beauty and customers, whilst upholding the highest standard of service excellence that Harrods is renowned for.

In this role you will be responsible for:

•    Carrying out a thorough daily walk around checks at the beginning of each shift, or upon changing vehicle and report any vehicle defects to TVDC office.
•    Taking ownership for maintaining the cleanliness of your vehicle and for the loading/ unloading and safe transportation of all goods carried.
•    Completing relevant shipment manifests for vehicle loads.

This Part Time position works an 8 hour shift every Saturday. 

About You 

To drive as part of our fleet you must be over the age of 21 and hold a clean, category C license for HGV. You will be an experienced competent driver with a passion for customer care. You will have great time management skills as well as a keen eye for attention to detail. You will be trustworthy and a confident communicator, ensuring any delays or challenges are handled with composure and professionalism.
