Data Analyst

Our Data Analytics department play a dynamic role in our business, developing the warehousing and infrastructure of our data, partnering with the business to identify and develop innovative data solutions and delivering these tools and insight to the business. Our Data Analysts play a key intermediary role, partnering with the business to understand the data needs of the business and prompt and propose tailor-made solutions for our technical teams to build and deliver. Our team strives to deliver daily excellence through driving better data decisioning business wide.

About you

You will be an experienced business analyst with a solid understanding of analytics, accustomed to partnering with the business to promote using analytics to improve business decision making, and working with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Data Science to support key business functions. You’ll enjoy the challenge of communicating across different levels of understanding and thrive on using analytics to move our business forward, capable of interpreting real business challenges into process improvements, credible in your challenges of the status quo. 

You’ll be recognised and experienced in supporting with the delivery of data solutions specifically, working with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels to drive and shape the data visualization tools and solutions available to the business to drive effective and insightful solutions. Technical data analytics expertise are an advantage as is data experience of relevant software’s and modelling tools. With a naturally consultative approach, you’ll be adept in unpicking complex challenges and applying for data expertise to reimagine the art of what is possible.

What to expect

In this role you will partner with our Data Engineers and Analysts and translate the business needs as the subject liaison to drive what is possible for the business from data analytics. You will work as a key communicator and ambassador of the data analytics department, partnering with the business to design commercial solutions that will improve and revolutionise the businesses use of data in daily decision making and data insights.

In this role you will develop and communicate insights and recommendations in a compelling and accessible way, for business stakeholders who may not have an analytical background. In this role you will support conclusions with factual evidence, through analytical methods combined with business acumen. Problem solving and analytical skills are key to the role.  You must be able to conduct fast prototyping of possible data models, root out potential causes and then test possible solutions to ensure the smooth delivery of meaningful data displays that will directly impact and solve real business challenges.
