Facilities Systems & Data Assistant Manager

Here at Harrods we have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Systems and Data Assistant Manager to join our Store Services team as part of a newly created function due to growth. You will support the Facilities Data Team, continuing to evolve our CAFM system using automation to increase efficiency.

About the Role 

In this role you will help manage our Computer Aided Facility Management System (Planon), working closely with stakeholders across Facilities, Engineering and Helpdesk to drive forward continuous improvement of the system through tools such as automation to reduce manual tasks and to increase efficiency. 

You will:

• Oversee the development of the CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) system (Planon).
• Identify system weaknesses and provide appropriate solutions and support.
• Maintain a 12-month CAFM development plan with monthly sprints.
• Ensure a structured and thorough testing regime for all system changes.
• Identify areas of automation within CAFM system and create checks to test.
• Work alongside the Business Intelligence Teams to identify area for Asset Data Improvement.
• Ensure the Facilities Data Team are driving out the correct PPM’s in line with department's expectations.
• Support training across the entire Facilities and Engineering Team.
   

About You 

• You possess advanced knowledge of Planon or similar CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) solutions.
• You are capable of training and developing your immediate team, as well as coaching the broader Facilities & Engineering Department.
• You have a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service- an operations background would be a huge plus but is not essential.
• You are flexible and able to accommodate business needs, including early starts, late finishes, bank holidays, and weekends. 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to influence and drive forward innovative ideas.
