Private Shopping Stock Operative

We are looking for a Stock Operative to join our fast-paced Private Shopping team at our iconic Knightsbridge store. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering a seamless, highly personalised experience for our most valued clients, supporting world-class service behind the scenes. The position offers a competitive salary of £31,066, reflecting the importance of this role within our luxury retail environment.

About the Role 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Private Shopping function. You will take ownership of stock flow, client order handling, and overall operational readiness, maintaining the exceptional standards expected at Harrods. 

You will coordinate stock movements across locations, pack and dispatch client orders with care and precision, and support Private Shoppers and Client Managers in fulfilling client requests. A highly organised, polished, and proactive approach will be key to success in this role. 

About You 

You will be a reliable and proactive team player with a strong focus on supporting both colleagues and clients, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Confident and approachable, you build positive working relationships while managing a busy and varied workload in a fast-paced environment. You maintain a strong awareness of safety and security, take pride in your work, and are always ready to support where needed. 

You will also: 

• Be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods 
• Safely lift and move boxes (up to 20kg) within compact spaces 
• Confidently carry items, including when navigating stairs 
• Follow safety and security procedures at all times 
• Support with a range of ad hoc tasks as required
