Our Visual Merchandising team are looking for a Regional Visual Merchandiser to specialise in Harrods Airport stores across Heathrow and Gatwick.
This role plays a key role in sharing the magic of Harrods at our airport locations. The position calls for an individual who has a passion for cross-category merchandising, covering multiple categories including Womenswear, Menswear and Childrenswear, Accessories, Food and Harrods Own Label.
The role is based 3-4 days per week at Heathrow, 1-2 days at Knightsbridge and Gatwick once per month
About the Role
As a Regional Visual Merchandiser, you will collaborate closely with the Knightsbridge Visual Merchandising team to develop and execute creative display schemes that maintain a consistent and elevated brand presence across multiple locations. Your role will be key in dressing and installing displays across various categories, ensuring that Harrods is presented as the pinnacle of luxury, expertise, and innovation. You will play a vital part in understanding the needs of the travel retail consumer and ensuring these insights shape all creative decisions across different store environments.
You will regularly conduct floor walks with store teams, identifying opportunities to enhance visual displays in response to business needs. Drawing from trend analysis and research, you will translate insights into mood boards and design concepts, curating outfits and product selections that captivate and inspire customers. Additionally, you will actively seek stakeholder feedback on the visual impact of displays, making refinements where necessary to optimise engagement and drive sales.
About You
Ideally, you will have experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment, but more importantly, you will have a passion for retail and a drive to elevate our partnering brands and Harrods Own Label. You will be highly creative with a keen eye for fashion, a strong understanding of luxury retail, and the ability to curate engaging displays that enhance product performance and drive sales. Organised, collaborative, and detail-oriented, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and a problem-solving mindset.
You will also:
- Have experience in visual merchandising, ideally within fashion or luxury retail
- Possess strong knowledge of fashion, luxury brands, and current trends
- Be highly creative with strong styling skills, including mannequin dressing
- Demonstrate excellent planning, organisation, and attention to detail
- Work collaboratively while maintaining composure under pressure
- Be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Heathrow and Gatwick airports, with some time spent in our Knightsbridge store
