SAP Finance Analyst

Our SAP Systems team are looking for an SAP Finance Analyst to join us at this exciting time in the business to drive our SAP Finance road-map. In this role you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting the SAP Financial solution. This role will largely be based from our Hammersmith offices as well as ad hoc work at our other Harrods locations. This role will also include an on-call rotation and occasional weekend/overnight work.

About you

As the successful candidate, you will be a recognised SAP Finance specialist accustomed to consulting on SAP platform and app development, support and projects within the finance arena. You’ll have experience of configuring and supporting SAP FI/CO AP/AR (preferably SAP IS Retail using POS DM and Sales Orders).

As a retail business the breadth of our SAP offering is substantial and so experience of the retail industry in an SAP consultant capacity would be advantageous to your application.

You’ll be accustomed to working across projects, you may have an accreditation or qualification such as ITIL or Prince2 or equivalent to support your expertise. You’ll have knowledge of the project Life-cyle but equally have demonstrable experience in working with a support capacity and working towards continuous improvement of SAP applications, ideally both at mid-tier and enterprise levels.

In this role you’ll partner with technical and non-technical colleges across the business as well as working with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll require excellent communication skills with a proven ability to influence outcomes in an effective manner. What to expect

In this role you will play a key role as a specialist adviser and hands on Analyst for the SAP FI/CO/AP/AR disciplines of our SAP platform. You’ll work across support, projects and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with our wider IT department. You’ll participate in the design authority process and process improvements to maintain best practise business wide.

You’ll support operational activity within your specialist domain, working amongst a specialist team and keeping abreast of new innovations and trends in the market to implement and develop our own technologies. You’ll work across a varied workload, always keeping your stakeholders informed and consulting others where necessary. You’ll be an excellent problem solver, motivated to protect and develop our SAP model to deliver the best service to the business and championing our exciting road map ahead.
