Stock Operative

Our stock operations team in Knightsbridge have an exciting opportunity to join their thriving team supporting with the handling of a variety of food products.

About the Role

As a Stock Operative, you will ensure that deliveries are processed efficiently and accurately, and that stock is stored appropriately to the Harrods standard, working alongside the Stock Control Specialist. You will also be responsible for adhering to stock management processes, including shop floor replenishment where appropriate.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Keeping stock and stockrooms tidy and clean, adhering to Health & Safety standards
  • Ensuring safe handling, storage & packing of all merchandise
  • Ensuring all stock is correctly ticketed and priced, immediately raising any discrepancies with the Stock Control Specialist
  • Actioning price changes and markdowns when necessary
  • Carrying out stock audits daily
  • Assisting with stocktakes and sale preparation as required
  • Maintaining filing system for delivery packing lists
  • Inputting and updating details on the faulty trackers on a regular basis
  • Replenishment of items on the shopfloor in relevant areas
  • Ensure security procedures are followed at all times to prevent theft/ stock loss
  • Replenishment of items from House Stationery on designated days, coordinating with Retail Team on scheduling
  • Assisting retail teams where necessary with dispatch of stock

About You

You’ll be conversant and up to date with all relevant SAP functionalities and possess good PC literacy and numeracy. You will have excellent time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task and show great attention to detail whilst working under tight deadlines.
