Supervisor

The opportunity to support Harrods Gatwick's management team is here. As a Supervisor you will provide support to the management team in opening and closing routines of the terminal along with other daily duties.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Associates and Specialists in providing world class customer service, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for the Harrods brand. 

You will provide support to the management team in the opening and closing routines of the terminals that they work in as well as delivering sales and service with the team in the absence of the Sales Manager.

Please note, due to the location of this role, all successful applicants will need to provide satisfactory references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check to obtain an airside pass.

Due to the current unprecedented demand on the Airport ID unit, new airside pass applications are currently taking approximately 3 months from point of application. Further details regarding timeframes will be provided at interview stage.

About You

With experience as a team leader or supervising, ideally in retail, our expectations, standards and pace will stretch and develop you. We’re a friendly team that works together and shares the pressures, but don’t under-estimate the challenges. Ours is a fast-paced environment and you’ll need:

• Previous experience with opening and closing duties
• The communication skills to make a quick, long-lasting impact in a highly skilled team.
• The ability to deliver sales and service through the team in the absence of the Manager
• Experience supporting the operational control of the floor along with overseeing daily counts, actioning price changes, reviewing stock levels 
• Ability to work morning and evening shifts as well as weekends.
