Transport Loader – Level 2 Urban Driver Apprenticeship 

We’re currently looking for a Transport Loader Apprentice to join our fast paced, steam lined  Transport team in Thatcham. As part of the transport team you will be working alongside our highly experienced distribution team, working towards obtaining a Level 2 Urban driver Apprenticeship qualification.

Throughout the apprenticeship you will be coached on the knowledge, skills and behaviours necessary to become a distribution expert.

This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills to start your career alongside Harrod’s iconic fleet of famous green & gold lorries, gain a recognised qualification and earn a salary whilst you’re doing it.

About the role

Spread across 12 months, you’ll learn what it takes to be a top class driver within a fast-paced distribution environment. You’ll gain a solid knowledge of loader and driver duties, best distribution practices and all of the key skills necessary to become a top class driver within our outstanding fleet.

To help you gain your qualification, you will attend both face to face and online courses. You’ll have your own tutor and will be coached and supported, as well as having a mentor to assist with applying new learning to the day-to-day role. Once you’ve completed the apprenticeship, you’ll be ready to develop your career with us.

About you

You may or may not have experience within a transport or distribution; we will invest in your development to teach you the knowledge and give you the tools needed to succeed, but you will be passionate about the products, transport & of course the Harrod’s brand.
