Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to work as part of the warehouse team in ensure that all daily tasks and responsibilities are completed efficiently and accurately.

About the role

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. We work together, and we win together in bringing moments of magic to our customers.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse tasks allocated to you are completed accurately and efficiently.

Tasks include:    

• Ensuring that the required service standards are adhered to and, where possible, surpassed.
• Ensuring that all warehouse processes are followed and adhered to at all times.
• Identifying opportunities to pursue appropriate activities that will promote continual self-development. This may include the coaching and training of new colleagues as required.
• Adhering to the Company’s Business Dress Code and policy for timekeeping and attendance.
• Ensuring that Housekeeping and Health and Safety standards in the Warehouse and it’s environs are maintained at all times.
• Prioritizing assigned daily tasks to ensure that individual productivity is optimised.
• Ensuring any stock and data integrity issues are effectively communicated to the management team via the agreed process.
• Ensuring all warehoused deliveries are accurately checked off and put away in the Stores or dispatched to the relevant selling site within the agreed timelines
• Ensuring that all totes, garment rails, cages and pallets are correctly labelled with selling site destination and manifest number, and have the packing documentation attached.
• Creating a positive working environment

About You

As Warehouse Operative you will have a strong work ethic and great attention to detail as you will be checking key details of luxury orders on a day to day basis. You will be hard working, reliable, quick thinking and have the ability to take initiative. You will be a valuable team player who thrives on getting the job done to a high Harrods standard. You will have great timekeeping ability with flexibility to support the team across multiple functions with the team end goal in mind.
