Supply Chain Planning Analyst

We are seeking a highly organized Supply Chain Planning Analyst to play a critical role in ensuring that the supply chain operations smoothly and efficiently within Harrods.

This is to work on a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent.

About the Role

Reporting into the Supplier Engagement Manager, you will be part of a team driving efficiencies throughout the entire logistics network; working with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve this. Using applications such as SAP, Business Intelligence and other in-house IT solutions, you will be responsible for producing insight and analysis to help the business make informed decisions to drive change.

Other responsibilities and attributes include:

System

• Taking ownership of producing a short-term (1,2 & 4 week) and long-term (1 year) unit level forecast for all fashion & non-fashion categories to provide the distribution centre with clear visibility of inbound deliveries.
• Leading weekly Supply Planning meetings, updating the distribution centre on inbound deliveries and forecast accuracy to support resource and capacity planning.
• Preparing and deep dive performance metrics for our key suppliers including OTIF, Return to Vendor and Trouble Shipment data which feed our supplier scorecards.
• Producing and presenting supplier scorecards, leading monthly operational meetings and actively engaging with our suppliers as part of our Supplier Engagement Strategy, equipping both internal and external stakeholders with information to drive efficiencies across both our supply chains.
• Producing comprehensive rate cards and benchmark freight forwarding services to ensure competitive and cost-effective logistics solutions as a Supply Chain Analyst.
• Working collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders across the business, including; buying, merchandising, imports and retail supply teams to aid ad-hoc analysis & reporting and allow senior management to make informed decisions.
• Weekly & monthly reporting of the performance of our internal supply chain as well as ad-hoc analysis to support the distribution centre.
• Regular reviews of procedures for improvements in efficiency and working practices, and to ensure that any recommendations are measured and implemented in conjunction with the manager.
• Ensuring all reports are prepared, reviewed and actioned within the agreed timescales.
• Preparing and upkeeping of relevant documentation and process flows.

Operations

• Ensuring daily operational standards of the department are met.
• Playing a key role in ensuring that team harmony is optimised at all times.
• Ensuring that Housekeeping and Health and Safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Monitoring the team’s adherence to the attendance and dress code policy and highlight any issues.

You will be someone who always displays integrity and trust and has excellent influencing skills. You will possess excellent project management skills and be able to play a key role in ensuring that daily operational standards of the department are met.
