Are you an experienced Retail Financial Analyst?

We’re looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our Business Planning & Analysis team within our Finance department, on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Business Analyst role is to provide financial analysis, challenge and support to senior non-Finance stakeholders across the business, on a range of cross-functional initiatives. This covers both recent / in-flight initiatives, together with any significant new Group wide projects that are conceived.

Reporting to the Head of Business Planning but playing a very active role in supporting a wide variety of teams across the business to provide a financial lens and robust challenge, this role requires someone who is a self-starter with a naturally inquisitive and challenging mind.

The key elements of this role encompass:

• Analysis: To proactively identify commercial gaps, opportunities and inefficiencies and apply learnings from analysis undertaken to provide viable recommendations
• Reporting: To create and promote the use of professional, standardised and automated reporting to monitor initiatives
• Planning: To support the long term profitable and cash generative growth and development of the Harrods Group by ensuring that all initiatives are thoroughly modelled to understand the long term impact from both a P&L and cash flow perspective

To be successful, you must have previous experience as an Analyst, ideally within a multi-channel retailer.
