Business Manager Beauty

As a Business Manager within our Beauty Department, you’ll help get the best out of a diverse and passionate team, providing a truly remarkable experience for every customer. Acting as a role model, people coach and product expert, you’ll drive sales and exceptional service. From day one, you’ll work alongside a team of retail experts who are extremely proud to be part of an incredible business.

Harrods is in the middle of a £200 million transformation to ensure we remain a destination for a  retail experience unlike any other. Alongside re-imagining our retail spaces and our use of new technologies, we’re empowering our retail leaders to work wonders. Home to over 30 boutiques with exclusive brands, collections and products, our newly renovated Beauty Halls push the boundaries of beauty. There are Magic Mirrors that allow customers to try on lipsticks virtually. We’ve a dedicated skincare hall.  And early in 2020, you’ll be able to watch livestreamed advice from top beauty experts around the world.

About you

Your key focus will be to drive sales and service performance through your teams while taking care of their welfare and development.  Day to day, you’ll need to be passionate about customer satisfaction and improving the shop floor, as well as being full of ideas and energy. It’s essential that you can make a quick impact, so you’ll need experience in managing people.

As well as these qualities, it’s important you have:

• The organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly
• Previous management experience within a skincare/fragrance or makeup brand
• An eye for quality – we take pride in everything we do for the customer
• Reliability, hard work and customer focus – your standards will become your team’s
• The judgement to know when to flex your leadership style
