Buyers Clerk

The heart of the role

We are significantly expanding our Buying team as we go through an exciting period of growth and looking for Buyer’s Clerks across our Women’s, Men’s and Beauty categories.   As a Buyers Clerk you will provide vital administrative support in one of the most exciting and fast-moving buying departments in the world.  You will ensure the smooth running of the Buying Office across all omni-channels including store, online and Airports across own buy and concessions.

About you

Analytical, a strong communicator, excellent time-management skills and an awareness of the luxury sector. You will be PC literate, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.  We need you to demonstrate you can:

• Create all Purchase Orders for the department with the Senior Buyers Clerk
• Assist the Buyer with completing the Buyers Sheet, inputting data required for the order
• Continuously maintain articles to ensure accuracy
• Create the department Look Book each season, highlighting the key season trends and featuring all the products bought for the season from each brand
• Ensure that all key stakeholders, including the store retail team, airport retail team and the online team are kept up-to-date on deliveries and special orders.
• Action RTVs, working closely with the store and airport retail team and distribution team on returning stock to the vendor and processing all returns on the system
• Attend regular floor walks with Retail Managers and Visual Merchandising to view new products being delivered and discuss how to display them
• Conduct competitor shops to assess range, merchandise mix, price points and new labels for both online and in store
