We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our Store Development team in our iconic Knightsbridge store, with occasional travel to our other Harrods locations including Hammersmith, Thatcham and the London airports.

About you 

You will be an experienced CAD professional with good PC literacy, including proficiency in using Word, Excel and AutoCAD 2D is essential to succeed in this position. Experience of working with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Indesign) and Revit would be advantageous, but is not essential. Alongside a flair for design, you should be able to demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and strong attention to detail, which will be evident through written communication and drawings. Flexibility regarding your working hours is important, in order to adapt to changing priorities and a fast paced work environment. 

What to expect

As a CAD Designer, you will produce technical drawings for one off project works at concept stage and on smaller projects through the life-cycle of the project. You will manage master floor plans, ensuring they are up to date through regular surveys and reviews of as-built information provided by projects. Other accountabilities of the role include ensuring the calculation of gross/net floor areas are correct for all areas, and using the ASite Adoddle document management platform to review and track the approval status of documents.
