Cash Handling Manager

About You


You will lead and develop a high performing cash team, delivering results through effective management and you will support the Cash Handling Area Manager to ensure all cash handling transactions are reconciled and an audit trail is maintained.  You will be a motivated people manager with exceptional attention to detail and experience with handling large quantities of cash. 

You will be responsible for 


•    Balancing the previous day takings & prepare ready for Security collection
•    Reconciling day to day trade figures
•    Up-dating and implementing new procedures as and when they arise
•    Sale preparations – tills locations, sale floats
•    Ensuring takings are process correctly via ISA system 
•    Investigating agreed Daily Banking figures and resolving any discrepancies
•    Liaising with our external Bank any cash differences 
•    Making sure all discrepancies are reported to till investigations 
•    Management of the day to day operations in the cash office
•    Preparing staff rotas
