About the Role 

As the Commis Chef Apprentice in our restaurants, you will embark on an exciting culinary journey, learning from some of the finest chefs in the industry. You’ll be at the heart of the action, preparing and organising ingredients, and keeping the kitchen clean.

Reporting into the Chef de Partie, you will be a key member of the team, whose role is integral to the smooth operation and delivery of the Kitchen operations. You will be responsible for the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food stored ensuring that all administration for own section is completed and complies with the deadlines set. 

In this role, you will guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing the high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all food-related outlets. 

About You 

This Commis Chef apprenticeship is a unique opportunity for individuals with a desire to build a career in the culinary world, by attending an accredited course whilst learning on the job. You don’t need to have any previous kitchen experience, but having knowledge and passion for food and drink is essential, as is the motivation to succeed within our restaurant kitchens. 

Additionally, you will need to meet the eligibility criteria in order to undertake this apprenticeship. This will be discussed during your screening call. 

You will also:
•    Be over 16 years old
•    Must not currently be in full-time education
•    Have current right to work in the UK on a full-time basis
•    Be able to work on a full-time basis 
•    Have been living in the UK/EEA for 3 consecutive years

•    Competitive salary package of up to £15 p/h (this is made up of a generous base 
salary plus service charge)*  
•    Set contracted hours – paid additional working hours at an overtime rate of 1.5 p/h
