We are seeking a Copywriter to craft compelling and accurate product descriptions across a variety of categories at Harrods. This is a Fixed Term Contract until November 2026.

About the Role 
As a Level 2 Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for crafting high quality, commercially focused product descriptions for up to 20 products a day, ensuring our online customers get a clear and enticing view of our luxury offerings. You will also act as a guardian of the Harrods tone of voice, whilst mentoring junior members of the team and contributing to wider content initiatives.  

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Writing 20+ luxury product descriptions daily across multiple categories (fashion, accessories, home, food, childrenswear). 

  • Sub-editing and quality-checking up to 80 descriptions per day from Level 1 Copywriters. 

  • Mentoring and training junior copywriters, providing feedback and guidance. 

  • Ensuring all copy aligns with Harrods’ tone of voice and brand guidelines. 

  • Contributing to brand pages and PLP banners to support SEO and content strategy. 

  • Collaborating with stylists, photographers, and editors in a fast-paced studio environment. 

About You 
You will have a strong passion for writing and a keen interest in luxury product, with an eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You’ll thrive on feedback, take pride in accuracy, and enjoy crafting engaging product descriptions that bring luxury items to life. 

You will also have: 

  • Experience in product copy writing with strong editing and mentoring skills.  

  • Knowledge of fashion terminology and luxury trends. 

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage high volumes of copy. 

  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
