About You

The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for leading corporate communications at Harrods, under the direction of the Head of Corporate Affairs.

As a strategic thinker, the Corporate Communications Manager will have the ability to help build the Harrods corporate brand, positioning Harrods as a responsible, successful business to its network of stakeholders.

They will have a strong network of industry contacts across multiple types of media and external affairs, and be responsible for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business.

The Corporate Communications manager will assist the Head of Corporate Affairs and Director of MarComms in understanding the macro and micro environment of the media landscape, both from a digital and traditional point of view, as well as potential risks to the Harrods brand, and opportunities to strengthen it.  

With strong managerial and mentoring skills, the Corporate Communications Manager will drive the team to deliver Marcomms KPIs.  

The Corporate Communications Manager will be a subject expert in their industry and have the strength of connections within that network.  

Key accountabilities include: devising creative Corporate communications campaigns, identifying industry important issues and Harrods response, maintaining relationships with key media, manager Corporate Communication Executive/Assistants, bringing general best practice to the business.
