Our Insights department are looking to hire a market insights and research expert to join Harrods at this exciting time to inform and drive cutting edge business decision making in line with what our customers want and need. In this role you’ll be exposed to our entire business and partner with our research  & data teams to present bespoke and meaningful insights and drive our commercial business results. To succeed in this role you’ll need to be a seasoned insight specialist and a natural storyteller, able to draw tangible conclusions from a collection of complex data, both quantitative and qualitive.

About you

You’ll be a seasoned business insight and strategy specialist with a depth of expertise partnering with a range of industries and market categories. You’ll have a depth of experience working within a management consultancy environment or strategic insight business, partnering with a range of clients with proven experience of turning data into successful business actions. You’ll have a natural curiosity and be a creative problem solver in identifying the ‘what’ and the ‘why’s of market behavior and have an appetite to collate and analyze complex data sets (both qualitative and quantitative). In this client facing role you will play a dynamic role in delivering and presenting compelling commercial insights to inform business decision making at Harrods. You’ll be a strong communicator, confident to partner with multiple stakeholders at all levels to present your findings as well as galvanizing a dynamic research team. We want you to be the go-to person for problem solving, a reliable source within the team, who is knowledgeable and approachable. You’re personal and professional desire will be to inspire, innovate and motivate the business to make decisions based on critical market understanding.

What to expect

You’ll work in a new and exciting Insights Department reporting into the Head of Insights alongside brilliant analysts, strategic thinkers and customer research professionals - at the heart of decision-making across the business. You’ll represent our whole division to the business and ensure we maximise the impact of our work, promoting the role of insights across all divisions. You’ll partner with external agencies and internal resource to collate bespoke data reporting and story tell meaningful insights to the business. In this exciting role you’ll sit alongside the merchandising and store management teams to be their central point of contact for all data and analytics as well as being the go-to person for wider business insights. As the Customer Insight Manager you will enable our business to understand our customers, how they behave, shop and buy goods.  To do so, you will work closely with the Research and Data Analytics teams to deliver the best collaborated response to queries. As part of this newly established function you will also play a key role to futureproof our business decision making by identifying gaps in our insight programme, proactively build holistic insight solutions and educating your stakeholders on relevant and cutting-edge market insights.
