Delivery Services Advisor Team Leader

Our distribution team are currently looking for a Team Leader to support the Delivery Services department within our Knightsbridge store.

This position works varied shifts between 7am and 9pm across any 5 of 7 days a week with regular weekend work.

About The Role 

In this role as team leader, you will support and report to the Manager in the day to day running of the department ensuring that all KPI’s and objectives are met. This will include working with the Sales Advisors on the store floor, Couriers and your Dispatch and Delivery colleagues to manage the smooth running of all deliveries.

This would also include:

• Dealing with tight deadlines with conflicting priorities.
• Updating colleagues and customers by email and telephone communications.
•  Responsible for checking all tasks are carried out correctly according to department procedures.
• Investigating customer service complaints and escalate where appropriate
•  Supporting with Financial Reporting and Analysis.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in warehouse and distribution roles, you will be a valuable team player who thrives on getting the job done to high Harrods standards. You will have great attention to detail in the day-to-day endeavours in the department. As you will be using online systems in your day-to-day checks of deliveries, you will need to be computer literate and experience in using Numerical, Literacy and communication skills are essential.

You’ll be passionate about the customer experience and motivated to work with others to  deliver a seamless customer service experience. You will be computer literate and capable of  multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and always demonstrate a can-do attitude.
