Demi Chef de Partie Baker

We are now looking for a Demi Chef de Partie who loves being right at the heart of the action to join our wonderful Bakery team. Our Bakers are an integral part of our Pastry kitchen. They ensure that our world-class food halls and restaurants are stocked with mesmerizing breads and viennoiserie, baked fresh on site every single day.  

About The Role 

As a Demi Chef De Partie, your role is to act as a vital part of the team by ensuring the smooth running of a section and providing support to the Chef De Partie and other team members. 

In this role, you’ll actively provide direction and support to the team to deliver the day to day operational requirements. You’ll assist the management in the planning and forecasting of stock and orders, support with the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food that is stored. You’ll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing a high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all-food related outlets. 

About You 

You’ll be an exceptional baker with extensive experience with artisanal baking techniques which includes working with sourdough and other laminated bakery products. Having a great knowledge and passion for food and drink is essential. You’ll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.  

You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and a great attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. By coaching, inspiring and motivating the team, you’ll be able to demonstrate effective leadership and management skills.
