Distribution Team Leader - Dispatch

Our distribution team are currently looking for a Team Leader  to support the Distribution function within our Knightsbridge store.
 
About The Role

In this role within the Distribution department, you will support and report to the Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the operation, ensuring that all KPIs and departmental objectives are consistently achieved. You will be responsible for managing reports on dispatched orders and orders pending dispatch, ensuring all customer deliveries are sent out on time and that any internal service issues are promptly addressed within the team.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Managing the packing process for all customer deliveries and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Overseeing the tasks assigned to warehouse operatives and ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with departmental procedures.
• Investigating customer service complaints and escalating matters when necessary.
• Providing support to the Delivery Services team as required.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in warehouse and distribution roles, you will be a valuable team player who thrives on getting the job done to high Harrods standards. You will have great attention to detail in the day to day endeavours in the department.

As you will be using online systems in your day-to-day checks of deliveries, you will need to be computer literate and experience in using SAP systems will be advantageous. Numerical, Literacy and communication skills are essential.
