Electrical Technician

We are recruiting a skilled and trained Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance team on the shop floor at Harrods. This role will work day shifts between 8am-8pm across a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. 

About you 

You will be a trained and skilled Electrical technician suitably qualified to a minimum standard of City & Guilds 2382 Electrical Installations Parts I and II. You’ll be self- motivated, accountable and quick to respond to issues or failures. You’ll need experience working independently within a live site environment tending to a variety of electrical maintenance issues. You’ll be fully conversant with all BS and relevant regulations. You’ll have circa 3 years working in the industry and a team player able to motivate team members. You must have good physical fitness as there will be some lifting and working on step ladders in this role.

What to expect

In this role you can expect to work in a fast paced team to plan, manage and execute the day to day planned and reactive maintenance programme. You will work amongst an experience maintenance team, working to report all issues relating to the relevant shift to the Principal Technician and give technical support and complete ad-hoc works as required. In this role you will work at heights up to 3m, working on the shop floor to resolve all issues in and out of our store opening times. This is an exciting opportunity working to mend any breakages and electrical faults in our electrical infrastructure.
