Facilities Technician

Our facilities team are recruiting a multi-trade facilities technician. This unique opportunity will work 4 days on 4 days off rolling rota at our Knightsbridge store and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a seamless Harrods experience for all our customers.

About You

You will be an experienced multi trade facilities technician with a minimum of five years practical experience as either a maintenance multi-trade carpenter or construction carpenter. You will require a City & Guilds or equivalent qualification. You will have skills and experience as a locksmith, painter & decorator, able to turn your skills and experience to a varied work environment. You will be driven and self-disciplined, able to work with others and communicate clearly to ensure a smooth and co-operative team working environment.

What to expect

As a Facilities technician you will assist with the day to day reactive tasks required of the maintenance department or any planned maintenance works as required. You will ensure all works carried out comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act together with relevant risk and method statements. You will report to the shift supervisor and/or Building Maintenance Manager any issues which impact the service delivery of the Maintenance Department. You will actively demonstrate point of service delivery to clients and stakeholders.
