Front of House Ambassador

The Green Man/Woman is a custodian of the Harrods brand experience, playing a vital role in creating the moments that define a customer's visit, from the first welcome to the final farewell. Positioned at the heart of our iconic entrances, you will play a key role in shaping both the beginning and end of the customer journey. Through a warm welcome, expert guidance and thoughtful support at departure, you will help create memorable experiences that leave customers feeling valued, cared for and looking forward to returning.

About the Role

The Green Man/Woman is responsible for delivering a seamless arrival and departure experience, ensuring customers feel supported, confident and cared for at key moments of their visit. Acting as a trusted point of reference, you will use your knowledge of the store, services and surrounding area to guide customers, answer enquiries and connect them with the people, products and experiences most relevant to their needs. 

You will develop a deep understanding of customer behaviour, using strong situational awareness and sound judgement to anticipate needs, identify opportunities to assist and adapt your approach to a diverse range of customers and situations. 

Working closely with teams across the business, you will help coordinate and support exceptional customer journeys, contributing to VIP experiences, store events and service initiatives while maintaining the high standards of hospitality, professionalism and presentation that define Harrods. 

Through every interaction, you will act as a visible ambassador of the brand, helping to create an environment where customers feel welcome, valued and eager to return. 

This role is fully on site, working 4 out of the 7 days a week.

About You

We are looking for a naturally welcoming and people-focused individual to join our Green Team. You enjoy engaging with people and creating positive experiences through genuine and meaningful connections, are confident and approachable, and able to build rapport quickly with a diverse international customer base. Observant and attentive, you notice the details others miss and use your judgement to anticipate customer needs and proactively offer support.

Curious by nature, you enjoy learning and take pride in developing your knowledge of the store, our services, the local area and the wider London experience.

You will have experience in delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating memorable moments, are motivated by the opportunity to continuously develop your skills within a world-class service environment, and proud to be an ambassador of Harrods.

You will also:

• Be calm and composed under pressure, remaining professional and adaptable and maintaining high standards regardless of the situation.
• Collaborate with and support colleagues across the business to ensure customers enjoy a seamless journey.
