Fulfilment Clerk

We are currently recruiting for a Fulfilment Clerk for our Furniture team to play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by managing customer orders from initial creation through to successful fulfilment and delivery.

About the Role

As a Fulfilment Clerk, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of customer sales orders, ensuring orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and supported by clear and proactive communication. Working closely with both internal teams and external vendors, you will help maintain efficient fulfilment operations while providing outstanding service to customers throughout their order journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing domestic and international customer sales orders from creation through to successful delivery.
• Communicating proactively with customers regarding order progress, delivery expectations, and any potential delays.
• Coordinating vendor confirmations and ensuring purchase orders are accurately processed and amended when required.
• Supporting invoice management and balance payment processing, working closely with internal finance and transactions teams.
• Producing fulfilment reports and collaborating with buying, retail, delivery, and stock operations teams to maintain efficient stock and order management.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

About You

You will be a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment. You will have strong communication skills and be confident building positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service will enable you to thrive in this role.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in an order processing, fulfilment, customer service, logistics, or administration role.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with business systems; SAP S/4HANA experience would be advantageous.
• Strong numerical, reporting, and organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
