Position Purpose

To lead the building of the Harrods Media Sales digital business. Develop the tools, commercial strategy and operations to enable the success of Harrods digital media channels.

A Senior leader providing direction and support to the team whilst supporting the Director to identify, define and implement appropriate solutions for key strategies to enable business growth

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsibility for developing and delivering the suite of media opportunities across Harrods’ digital platforms.

  • Current Platforms include: Harrods.com, Harrods App, Harrods social media feeds, CRM/e-mail and loyalty

  • Grow the portfolio of digital opportunities

  • Work with relevant 3rd party partners to deliver these new (or existing) opportunities

  • Develop a platform and sales strategy to aggressively grow digital media sales revenues over the next 3-5 years

  • Align with product owners to successfully grow the ways in which brand partners can advertise across digital channels.

  • Develop tailored digital proposals and media sales pitches ensuring all activity are consistent with the Harrods brand values, and are commercially viable.

  • Build and develop relationships with merchant teams responsible for these sectors to drive revenue and broader brand interactions

  • Be an ambassador of the Harrods brand

  • Provide expertise and guidance to the sales teams to enable their digital pitches

  • Help the Partnerships Director grow the digital media sales team
