Calling all School Leavers, do you have a bright retail future?

We’re looking for candidates who have just completed, or are about to complete their A Levels and have a keen interest in luxury retail for a unique opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in sales at Harrods.

The Programme:

Starting in September 2019, this 18 month Level 3 apprenticeship has been designed to offer a stepping stone in to a high service selling role.

You will be exposed to different areas of the shop floor, from our World famous Food halls to our high profile International fashion areas, becoming an integral part of our world – class retail theatre along the way.

Attending multiple training courses and mentoring schemes during this programme, we aim to not only develop our delegates into a leading Sales Associate, working towards being a Retail Manager of the future. This is your chance to become a super seller and through tailored coaching, learn everything you need to know to excel on the shop floor. After successfully completing the programme you will be awarded with a L3 Retail Team Leader qualification.

Candidate Characteristics:

To be successful you must be organised, confident and driven, with a visible passion for luxury retail. You must be completing your A levels or equivalent in 2019 or have completed them in 2018 and have Grades A*-C in GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

The Benefits:

- Full Salary + commission during the course of the programme

- 50% Business Clothing Allowance

- 33% Staff Discount in store

- Numerous networking opportunities and face-to-face time with our Store Directors

One of our delegates described the programme as, ‘an amazing opportunity and a great transition from school into the work-place. We were well supported by the Learning & Development team at Harrods and were able to experience real life, on-the-job training – a perfect alternative to University!’
