Health & Safety Adviser

As a Health and Safety Adviser, you will conduct regular audits and investigations, compile reports, write policy and make recommendations to the business in order to mitigate risks and prevent the occurrence of incidents. You will train our staff to understand the principles in Health and Safety regulations and provide integral support by advising stakeholders across all areas of our business, including working closely on in-store installations and building projects alike. The Fire, Health and Safety team work tirelessly to develop and embed a positive, safe and secure environment at Harrods, and we are in need of an adviser to join our team of twenty, in order to provide vital guidance and advice to the Harrods group.

About you

To be successful, you'll be the holder of a recognized health and safety qualification at Level 5 or above and will have varied experience. Preferably Grad IOSH or equivalent. On hand to deliver guidance to our iconic store, you'll have plenty of knowledge on fire and health and safety regulations and policies. No one day is the same here at Harrods, therefore you'll be a flexible worker with a proactive approach to each and every day. You will have vast experience in a range of areas and be comfortable in adapting your communication style to various internal stakeholders and confident in delivering internal training.
