Our Facilities team are recruiting a BMS & HV Technician with an electrical bias to join our night shift team. In this role you will work as part of a team under the BMS and HV Manager to control the Building Management System and its associated mechanical and electrical controls within the Harrods buildings. Working a 4 days On 4 days Off rolling Rota.

About You
You will be an experienced BMS & HV specialist, trained by a recognized Electrical or other relevant building services apprenticeship. You will have experience of heating and ventilation system and controls. You’ll be confident to work alone as well as part of a team, self- motivated and able to work under pressure. You’ll have experience of control systems and interpretation of control drawings as well as monitoring and maintaining the upkeep for a full associated plant (including chillers, pumps, AHU, control panels, motorised dampers etc.). Knowledge of Schneider or other B.M.S Systems would be an advantage.
What to expect
As a BMS & HV Technician you will monitor the environmental conditions throughout the store and make necessary changes as required to maintain comfortable conditions. You will ensure the BMS and associated plant maintain an optimum performance and will carry out small project installations and programmes as and when required. You will a play proactive and reactive role to maintain the BMS system and associated equipment / Plant, undertaking 1st line fault finding of control panels and responding to calls directed by the facilities helpdesk.
You will ensure that any works are completed as per the SLAs & KPIs, and that the Store environmental conditions and controls meet the associated SLA and are optimised for shift handover. You will report all issues with regards to the BMS system to the HVAC Technical Manager to ensure clear communication amongst your immediate team and that escalations are identified and resolved asap.
