We are seeking an IT Service Design and Transition Manager that will be the main interface for Senior Management, Project Managers and stakeholders for all Service Design and Transition requirements and deliverables.

The day-to-day activities will be to lead all Service Design activities, ensuring new IT Projects transition smoothly into service with appropriate measures and support. However, the core of this role will be to work collaboratively to assist in embedding a service management culture within the Project Life-Cycle and the wider IT Division, educating and influencing stakeholders gracefully by taking them on a journey whilst balancing their needs with the needs of the Service.

We are looking to adopt and implement best practices and ways of working to ensure that all of our ITIL processes are both effective and efficient, but most of all, appropriately scaled. Experience in other industries and differing applications of ITIL is required to ensure that we can continually evolve and improve our processes to make them continually fit for purpose for the Harrods organisation.

While based in Hammersmith, the role will require half the time in the Knightsbridge location and may require some travel to other Harrods office locations e.g. Thatcham. The role will also provide some out of hours support for ELS and Major Incident Support, which is rota’d.
