By launching the new ‘H Beauty’ store, Harrods is bringing more magic, innovation, and theatre to the beauty market. H Beauty will meet a demand from beauty customers for experiential retail that allows them to creatively engage with and learn more about the beauty products they are purchasing, while enjoying a fun and creative retail environment. H beauty will extend Harrods’ beauty offering, beyond the Knightsbridge store to new customers.

We are currently recruiting for full time and part time Makeup Artists to join a luxury beauty brand launching within the new concept store. The brand will be covering both makeup and fragrance so having had previous experience in both would be beneficial. You will add your beauty expertise to the stunning, state-of-the-art setting to create an unforgettable experience for visitors, whilst being an ambassador for both Harrods and the brand.

As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for delivering sales targets by making sure to execute in-store excellence and provide information to help assist customers. Key responsibilities within the role will include:

• To develop relationships with store staff and management and liaise regularly with the brands head office team when required
• To keep informed of all company initiatives
• Demonstrate ownership for the counter and daily responsibilities
• To find and suggest alternative and add-on-sales
• To deal with problems and complaints effectively
• To maintain housekeeping routines and company standards of visual display, in line with store guidelines

About you

To thrive in this brand-new concept store, you will need to have a passion for beauty and previous experience in working for a luxury beauty brand as either a Makeup Artist or a Beauty Consultant. As the account will cover makeup, and fragrance –makeup artistry experience will be essential and previous experience in selling fragrance would be beneficial.
